Looking Up for the final season of True Blood
The end is near! I’m sure most of the true blood fans are always seating in front of their television just to catch up every single episode of true blood season 7. In this last season of the series the story will focus what will happen to the vampires and so is Sookie. It is just sad that some of the characters in the final season will say goodbye to us one of it is Tara. She is an exciting character since she showed up in the series.
In the final season of the series is hardly to predict since they are focusing in the major characters but somehow I am really hoping that Eric is back after the heart breaking season 6 finale in the top of ice mountain burned naked. I am sure Eric is not dead just because he is one of the major characters in the series hoping for him a great comeback. So far in "True Blood" season 7, the show does seem to be setting up for a Bill and Sookie endgame, with flashbacks to the first season when Sookie was infatuated with the mysterious Bill. There have also been many flashbacks that show Bill Compton with his human family, painting Bill in a sympathetic light. But maybe that would be too obvious and the show is deliberately misleading us to pull the rug from under us in the show's final moments.
The second option of an Eric and Sookie ending seems to be slipping away as well. In the "True Blood" season 7 premiere, Pam is searching for Eric after he was last seen burning up atop a snowy mountain. When Pam finally finds her maker, we're shocked to discover that the great Eric Northman has contracted the Hep V virus, as evidenced by the dark, protruding veins on his chest.
In "Fire in the Hole" we discover that Eric has lost the will to live after the true deaths of his maker Godric and sister Nora. The episode also confirmed the off-camera true death of Tara Thornton in the opening scene of the "True Blood" season 7 premiere, as Pam tells Eric her progeny was killed but he's unsympathetic. This has led him to act recklessly and in turn contract the Hep V virus. Pam tells him that infected vampires with an abundant supply of blood have been living longer and perhaps a cure will soon be found.
Eric's apathy and his reminiscing of a former human love Sylvie, makes an Eric and Sookie ending seem highly unlikely. But he does find renewed purpose when Pam informs him that Sarah Newlin, who is responsible for killing Nora, is still alive somewhere. Who knows, maybe a cure will be found for Hep V but in the meantime an Eric and Sookie ending seems to have sailed.
Of course, another option for Sookie will be that she ends up with no one at all, which is what Anna Paquin seems to think, according to her real life husband Stephen Moyer. "She would probably say, 'Sookie should go off and become a barwoman in New York'". Sookie would probably fit in better in a big city but she's remained committed to staying in Bon Temps so far.
